Orientation

Today was day 1 of orientation. Yesterday was moving into our new place, meeting the other volunteers and then wandering around Chiang Mai. A few of us went to wonder around, while doing so we stumbled upon the arts and culture museum. Very cool, the building just went on forever, so much to see.

We went to Warrorot Market and looked around-it is HUGE!! 

It is crowded like this for many blocks, and it also has many floors. 

While there we found some food. I had a noodle beef soup thing-so good! Could eat this every day!! 

Following this we went back to the volunteer house, found more people and went for dinner. We were all super tired, being on different time schedules and such. The girls in my room and I were all asleep before 9pm. Before we fell asleep we were talking about how to turn off our lights...couldn't find the light switch anywhere. We slept with them on, found the light switch in the morning. It wasn't in an obvious place though. It was in the middle of the wall behind one of the bunk beds.
