Art Relief

So durring my time at Art Relief international I did a bunch of cool stuff.
Here is a link to my intro blog that I wrote for ARI. My first workshop was at Baan Nokkamin, making flowers. Check out what I wrote here. It was a really great day! The kids were amazing to work with and lots of fun. It blows me away where these kids would be without a place like this. A place that brings them together, a place that supports them. These kids do a lot for themselves, they cook, clean, do laundry and most things on their own. It just amazes me. It is great that they have places like this here for them.

The workshop was so easy going and fun- it was perfect. and the girls did an amazing job creating flowers. I can't wait to see the final product. It was still not put together yet when I left ARI. but they are having an exhibition in a couple weeks and this piece will be in the exhibition - can't wait to see what it will look like when it is put together.

My original fears about not being good enough for ARI were mitigated by this workshop. I felt supported by other volunteers and staff, I felt great. I felt like I did have something to offer.
