Here at the tallest point in Thailand King Inthanon's ashes were scattered and a memoial shrine was built.
Some history about the park for you:
To the temple we went, can't go to Doi Inthanon and not go to the temples. These temples were built to honour the 60th birthdays's of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. They are beautiful places. We did get caught in the rain, so we hung out in the temple for a while meditating until the rain passed.
I can't write what the following inscriptions say better than how they say it.
Buddhism:
Me with the Queen's garden in the background, I love how yo can see the clouds rolling in.
Trying to take a selfie with the beautiful view, but Ken photobombed me.
In the Queens Garden, with the clouds covering one of the chedi's.
A beautiful waterfall at the chedi's.
On the way back to town we stopped at a waterfWachirathan Waterfall, so beautiful.
